ADVICE FOR CLIMBERS
Allow plenty of days on the mountain to help you acclimatize well.
Walk slowly to allow your body store oxygen in the blood cells that will help you in higher altitude.
Do not allow to be tempted by a trail to gain altitude quickly.
Avoid competitions even if others overtake you.
There is no hurry in Kilimanjaro, but timing.
Do not forget to drink water to avoid dehydration.
Avoid negative thinking to prevent disorientation
Think positively to help you have a good focus.
You might take Diamox to help you acclimatize in spite of its finger tingling side effect.
You might carry Paracetamol or Panadol in case of severe headaches.
Avoid coffee if you have high pulse rate. (while in the mountain)
We usually supply Ox meters to measure your pulse and oxygen level.
We usually supply oxygen cylinders in case of emergency.
Follow the advice of your guide who will be observing you from day one.
